Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Seetharam Engineering ("we") handles your data when you use ContentAI Studio across the cloud, Windows, and Android apps. We are committed to collecting only what we need and keeping it secure.
1. Data we collect
- Account data: your name, email address, and a securely hashed password. We never store your password in plain text.
- Usage & credits: the AI actions you run, credits spent, timestamps, and provider/model used — to meter usage and show your history.
- Content you provide: prompts, uploaded media, and generated outputs, processed to deliver the Service.
- Technical data: IP address and basic device/app information for security, rate-limiting, and diagnostics.
- Connected accounts: if you sign social or Google accounts into the app, those sessions are stored locally in your app's browser profile on your device; we do not receive your social passwords.
2. How we use it
- To provide, secure, and improve the Service and to authenticate you.
- To route AI requests to model providers and meter credits accurately.
- To send you essential emails (email verification, account and billing notices).
- To comply with legal obligations and prevent abuse.
- To review the custom knowledge, skills and lessons you choose to add to your account's brain (by rating generated work, or using "Learn from this edit / generation") and, if approved by us, to apply them across the platform and to train, evaluate and improve ContentAI's features and models. See below.
Custom knowledge and training use. When you use a feature that teaches your account's brain, we receive the knowledge or lesson, the supporting data (prompt, settings, measurements), your account email (so the reviewer knows who it came from), the time and the version of this policy in force, and a small picture or short clip of the item it was learnt from. It works in your account at once and stays private to it until we approve it. If approved, it is used platform-wide and for training, in derived form (techniques, measurements, lessons, short evidence frames); we do not publish or redistribute your original files. Approved knowledge becomes part of the platform and is not removed when you delete your account; the files you uploaded are deleted as described under Retention. Using these features is your agreement to this use; see Terms section 6A.
3. Third parties
To generate AI content we send your prompts (and, where relevant, media) to third-party AI model providers acting as our processors. We pool provider API keys server-side; your prompts are used only to fulfil your request. We use a cloud hosting provider and a managed database to run the Service. We do not sell your personal data.
4. Storage, security & location
Data is stored on secured servers with encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Access is restricted and rate-limited. On-device secrets in the desktop app are encrypted with the operating system's data-protection APIs.
5. Retention
We keep account and usage data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data as described in our Data Deletion Policy, subject to any legal retention we are required to keep.
6. Your rights
Depending on your location (including under the GDPR and similar laws), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise these rights from your account or by contacting us. You can request account and data deletion at any time — see the Data Deletion Policy.
7. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
8. Cookies
The website uses only essential storage (such as your sign-in token) to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies.
9. Changes & contact
We may update this policy and will change the date above. For any privacy request, contact support@seetharamengineering.in or open a ticket from your account.
